Pressrelease – Vanja Kollmann
Vanja Kollmann says she has finished her planning for 2010. It contains, as usual, a solid effort but also a few surprises.
She announces that she will go for WWEC, Women World Enduro Championship.
- It's the first time that there is a class for us girls in the individual World Championships, "says Vanja Kollmann.
- Of course I am a hundred percent committed and I have a good deal with my sponsors, some have been longtime partners and they support me one hundred percent. In addition, we have some new partners which is always extra inspiring. I am extremely grateful for this and it spurs me to train harder, says the former European Champion.
In addition to World Cup will Vanja to engage in yet another class, the Swedish Championship.
- The development of ladies enduro in Sweden is progressing and this is another step in the right direction. This means that we get longer and tougher competitions nationally as well, which suit me perfectly, "says Vanja.
- Furthermore, I will run the extreme race Red Bull Romaniacs again. I drove it last year with my coach and I really enjoyed it, "says the military officer from Eksjö.
In conclusion, we note that Vanja Kollmann has a busy year ahead and we wish her well.

Hello!
I was very nervous before the start in this competition, I didn’t knew what to expect. The only thing I had seen were all movies that were on YouTube but now after the race, I must say that it was one of my best races ever. The riding was fantastic, beautiful forests, plains, streams and ravines. I competed in a team along with my trainer, Robert Grindberg, we participated in the Hobby-class where there were 22 teams competing. After the "prologue" first day we managed to get a 5th starting position. This turned out afterwards that it was really good.
At 07:07 was our start the first day and we finished around 14.30. Track was very tough the first day and we pushed hard, unfortunately, we also made some "rookie" mistakes, we were in a very difficult uphill for 15min when it turned out that there was a way around... Before the finish, there were two different choices, if we chose the coward way, nothing happens but if we choose the second route with a large wall ride then we got a 20min bonus of our race time. The choice was not so difficult when we are right after the team ahead of us ... up in a large wall ride with a large river below us then to a hang bridge. When we stood and waited for our turn to cross the hang bridge one rider fell in the river in front of us and drowned his bike... luckily it went very well for us and we rolled into the finish happy and satisfied.
The rest of the days went well and we had no major problems. Day two and three was a little too much roads for my taste, but fun nonetheless, day four took us back to some tough uphills and the joy was back. However, the GPS driving was difficult and we had to pay attention when we were navigating not to lose the way. Unfortunately, we did a little mistake ended up high up on a mountain ... We welcome the fact that it was not just us but many more who did the same mistake. Finishing was spectacular it was on the 5th floor in an abandoned house, which consisted of six floors. We went up to the fifth floor via the staircase then further up to the roof via a ramp if you dared it. It was a powerful feeling to stand at the top of the roof and see the whole Sibiu. Our team finished in 6th place out of 22 teams. I am happy with our results and I am already looking forward to next years race.

Hello!
Today I will drive down to germany to race one more race in the crosscountryserie, XCC.com, After the race we will drive home as fast as we can. On monday the truck and all the bikes will leave Sweden for hedding to Romaniacs. The plan is to be down on wensday. The registration will be on friday and the first raceday will be on saturday.
